David Cronenberg, I <3 you. So so much.

Also: The water is inexplicably off in my apartment. This does not bode well for a cleaning spree today. First world problems, yeah!

Also as well: I am going to be an aunt again. Wee! I'm not so big on the little ones myself, but I am happy for my brother. [He said I couldn't put it on Facebook, but he said nothing about Livejournal ha ha. Mostly because he is not modern enough to even know what it is, really. Sneaky!]

Also again: I am in love love love with my summer classes. Sign language? Hawt. Third Wave Feminisms? Hawter! Both profs that are all 'it's summer.... it's a fun course!'? Hell yes!

I sure did! Also: the prof is fricken amazing and awesome. Like, in the sense that I want to go out drinking and dancing with her haha. Awesome! Half the signs she taught us yesterday were drunk-related: drinking, drunk, beer, dancing, music, flirt [!! cutest sign EVER!], etc etc. Adorable!

I am going to be an aunt again.

Congrats. Not so fond of kids, eh? I like them a lot, but I'd never want to add one to the planet, nor personally reproduce. I wish I were an aunt, but no.

Thank you!

No, kids make me pretty squeamish [to put it mildly]. I definitely do not want any of my own either, as you put it, adding one to the planet. It is pretty bad when my own mother has to tell me to be excited when my sister-in-law shows me the ultrasound photo. Hahah. C'mon, I have more tact than that!

It would be kind of sad to not be an aunt, though, I suppose. Did you just have the one sister?

No, one sister who died, and one brother who lives - he's been married for years, but for whatever reason, he is not breeding. It is the end of our genetic line. :)

I knew your sister was no longer alive. I was thinking brother, too. Should have trusted the memory! I believe a lot of genetic lines are ending nowadays. However, with three brothers in my family, it would be hard for the name not to continue. Meh.

Oh yes, and sign language? I learned the alphabet when I was in 2nd grade, and I still know it by heart - I'm so proud. ;)

You should be! From what I'm learning, it is truly integral and would still let you get by pretty well out there. :) Any aspect is good to know.

Yay! I had half-forgotten that you took it until someone [I forget who?] mentioned that you had. Hooray!
